How to Get to AT&T Stadium for World Cup 2026: Complete Transportation Guide
Getting to AT&T Stadium—officially branded as “Dallas Stadium” for the FIFA World Cup 2026—requires planning, especially on match days when 80,000+ fans converge on Arlington. The North Texas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee has released a detailed transportation plan. Here is everything you need to know to get there smoothly from anywhere in the DFW metroplex.
The Official Match-Day Transit Route: TRE + Charter Bus
The primary recommended method for reaching the stadium is the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) commuter rail. On match days, fans board the TRE at one of two main stations:
- Victory Station in downtown Dallas (served by DART Green and Orange Lines)
- Fort Worth Central Station in downtown Fort Worth (also a TEXRail stop)
Ride the TRE to CentrePort Station, where match-ticket holders transfer to free charter buses that go directly to the Bus Hub just north of the stadium. From the Bus Hub, it is a 10-minute walk to the stadium entrance. If trains are at capacity, Dynamic Charter Buses will also run directly from Victory Station and Fort Worth Central Station.
GoPass: Your Digital Transit Ticket
Download the GoPass app before your trip. It is the digital transit ticketing system for the entire DFW region. A single GoPass works across DART, Trinity Metro, and DCTA, so you can plan routes, buy tickets, track vehicles in real time, and get service alerts—all from your phone. You will need a GoPass ticket to ride the TRE.
Rideshare: Uber & Lyft
If you prefer rideshare, Uber and Lyft will drop you off at the Rideshare Lot (the parking area for Esports Stadium Arlington, next to the Medal of Honor Museum). After the match, pickups are at the same location. Expect surge pricing on match days—budget $40–80 per trip from central Dallas or Frisco. From our estate in Parker, TX, the ride is approximately 50 minutes.
Driving & Parking
Driving is possible but expect significant road closures on match days. AT&T Way, Cowboys Way, and portions of Nolan Ryan Expressway will be closed. If you do drive, plan to arrive at least 2–3 hours early and use one of the designated parking lots around the stadium complex. Parking will likely require advance purchase.
From Southfork Stays: The drive to AT&T Stadium is approximately 50 minutes via US-75 South and I-30 West on non-match days. On match days, add 30–60 minutes for traffic. We recommend the TRE option: drive to Victory Station (35 min from our estate), park there, and take the train.
Getting to the FIFA Fan Festival at Fair Park
The official FIFA Fan Festival at Fair Park in Dallas is accessible via DART rail. The Fair Park Station (Green Line) and MLK Jr. Station are both within walking distance. Free parking is available near the venue, and a dedicated Rideshare Lot is located between Washington Street and McKenzie Street. The Fan Festival is free admission and runs all 34 match days.
Pro Tips from Your Hosts
- Download GoPass before you arrive. Set up your account and payment method in advance.
- Leave early. Plan to arrive at the stadium area 2–3 hours before kickoff.
- Consider the Frisco fan zone. The FC Dallas Soccer Celebration at Simpson Plaza is only 35 minutes from our estate and avoids the Arlington traffic entirely.
- Rent a car for non-match days. Texas is car-dependent. Use transit for matches, but a rental car is essential for exploring the rest of DFW.
- After the match: If the Rideshare Lot line is long, walk to the Bus Hub and take a charter bus back to CentrePort Station.
